Hi Guys,

Be advised the new stock PCs, OptiPlex 7090s, will need to have the storage setting in the BIOS changed to AHCI or you will wipe your drive!!!

This is the same procedure as the new laptops.

Also, I have two scripts that will install the missing drivers on the Latitude 5420s and Latitude 5520s silently and with not user input!!!

I will be updating every one of those soon…

Thank You,

Staci Hack

Subject: New Images!!!

Hi Guys,

We have new images for deployment. These images have Windows updates included. They are fully updated as of yesterday.

Be sure to still check for updates as there is likely updates specific to the hardware configuration of the machine being imaged.

Windows Updates are included in the images.

These images were created using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit through Hyper-V and do not contain any drivers.

So far, the only machines that will need to have drivers manually installed are the Latitude 5420s and 5520s. I have downloaded the three missing drivers:

They are in the folder:

I have created several images to speed up the process as we move to Windows 10. The new image contains the following Programs:

kki_image_win_10_vc14.wim

All Images are located at:

\\hnas1-evs1\storage$\win_kki\WIN 10\Current

Copy all files and the folder to the root of your imaging drive.

As this is 60 gigabytes of files, let Jim or Wale know when you are downloading them, so they are aware of the large amount of data being transferred.

The Apply files have been edited to run from the root of your drive and pull the images from the Image folder.

As always, please let me know if you have any issues deploying these images, so they can be addressed, as soon as possible.

Always, be sure to update windows after imaging.

Thank You,
