Enrolling iPads into the School Container in AirWatch

Note: This is only for enrolling iPads on the school side. Institute iPads can be enrolled using the Intelligent Hub app.

Note: Freshservice does not transfer Word formatting well. I recommend using the attached PDF instead.

  1. Connect the iPad(s) to Wi-Fi.
    1. Power the iPad on. You will be prompted to select your language and country. Then, select “Set Up Manually”.
    2. Connect to the guest Wi-Fi (or any other available Wi-Fi). Once you’ve navigated the splash screen and have selected ‘Done’, lock the iPad. Do not finish the setup.

Note: If the iPad has already been setup, wipe it and start again from initial setup.

2. Connect the iPad(s) to a Computer with Apple Configurator

    1. You can connect multiple iPads to enroll them at the same time. The iPad(s) will appear on the app.

    1. I recommend doing this to keep the iPad environment as up to date as possible.
    2. Select the iPad(s) in Apple Configurator again and select ‘Update’ at the top. Choose the latest update available. (This can be done after Step 3. Steps 4 & 5 can be done during the iOS update.|
