Changing Computer Object Owner
* Computer object owner in Active Directory MUST be Domain Admins When re-imaging a computer*
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Right Click on kki.org.
- Click Find…
- Change the drop down to Computers.
- Type the hostname of the computer.
- Click Find Now.
- Right click on the computer object in the search results.
- Click Properties.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Click advanced.
- Click Change.
- Type in Domain Admins.
- Click Check Names.
- Click OK.
- Click Apply.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- Click on the X at the top of the window.
- Click on the X at the top of the window.
