- Open the Account Lockout Status Tool.
- Click on the File menu.
- Click Select Target
- Type in the username.
- Click OK.
- Open Event Viewer on your computer with your admin account.
- Right click on Event Viewer (Local).
- Click Connect to Another Computer.
- Type in the name of one of the DCs showing the lockout.
- Click OK.
- Expand Windows Logs.
- Click on Security.
- Right click on security.
- Click Filter Current Log.
- Type in 4740 for the Event ID.
- Click OK.
- Scroll through the events looking for the username in the Security ID field.
- You will see the Caller Computer Name.
- Connect to the Caller computer and sign the user out or reboot that machine.
