If you have received a device that was previously used by another staff member and need it to be set up for your use, please follow the instructions below.

1. Open Settings, then General, then Reset

2. Click on “Erase All Content and Settings”

3. Enter the device passcode and the restrictions code, if applicable

4. Enter the Apple ID password, if prompted. If you do not know the password, please reply to your open ticket or submit a Help Desk request before proceeding

5. You will see an Apple logo with a progress bar, this means that the device is erasing.

6. When the device turns on, select “English” as the language

7. Select “United States” as the Country

8. Tap “Set Up Manually”

9. Connect the iPad to the KKIGuest Wi-Fi (If you are working remotely, please connect the device to your Wi-Fi network)

10. Enter the Username and Password in their respective fields

11. Tap “Done” in the top right-hand corner

12. Tap “Next” in the right-hand corner

13. You will see a notice about remote management. Tap “Next” in the top right-hand corner. STOP HERE IF YOU ARE NOT PROMPTED TO ENTER A USERNAME AND PASSWORD ON THE NEXT SCREEN. 

14. Enter your KKI Username and Password. Once the Username and Password has been entered tap “Next” in the top right-hand corner.

15. Tap “Enable Location Services”

16. Tap “Get Started”
