If the Proxy/Guardian wants to change their email you can simply change it for them. If a customer calls in and needs to change their email and other items in their demographics, transfer them to HIM to have them verify if themselves.
Help a Proxy Change their email
- Navigate to the MyChart Administration activity.
- Search for the patient’s name and DOB.
- After pulling up the correct name, double click on patient name or click Accept.
- Confirm the name of the parent/caregiver, click on the blue hyperlink with their name.
- Click Edit Demographics.
- Update email and click Accept.
- Click Reset, to verify the new email for 2 step verification. The code will be sent to their new email address.
