Upload a Document

MyChart makes it fast and easier for patients to send files to staff. 

How to Upload a file

  1. The parent/proxy will log in from a PC, ensure that the profile has been switched to the patient’s name on the top right.

  1. Click Messages in the toolbar.

  1. Click Send a message in green.

  1. You will get 3 options, click “Ask a medical question." 

A. Refill a medication

B. Ask a medical question. 

C. Ask a customer service question.

  1. Click Next for the disclaimer.

  1. You will get 4 more options, click the option that applies: 

A. Non-Urgent Medical Question 

B. Prescription Question 

C. Test results Question 

D. Visit Follow-up Question

  1. Click the provider's name. The blank message will open, ensure that the subject and body has been filled, and press Send

  1. Click Attach/Paperclip to select/upload the file you need to send.
