August 2025 Epic/MyChart Upgrade
For the Epic Aug 25 Upgrade-The following are updates/changes in MyChart.
1. Patients who are at least 18 years old can now register through MyChart to be an organ donor. In MyChart, from the Quick Links section of the health summary or from the Explore More section of the health feed, patients can now select Organ Donor Registration. A registration form opens and is automatically populated with the patient's demographic information stored in their Epic record. The patient fills in any missing details and has the option to select the checkbox to authorize organ, eye, and tissue donation for research and education.
2. Patients now see a more consistent experience when managing their MyChart account across devices. The Change Password and Device Activity workflows have been mobile-optimized in the mobile Account Settings activity. Additionally, we've updated the style and layout of the mobile Account Settings activity to match the website.
**Note that to see these changes in the MyChart mobile app, patients must update the app to version 11.3 or higher.
3. Patients can now view the information they need about the providers. Navigate to the menu, select Provider Finder, search for the provider, from there you will see a bio section under the provider's profile.
