MyChart Password Reset

MyChart password recovery process makes it easier and faster for helpdesk to reset passwords and protect patients' medical information by making it harder for impersonators to gain access to patient accounts. In this workflow, helpdesk staff send a password reset link to the patient's email.

Try it out!

  1. Log into Hyperdrive, and launch .
  2. Search for the patient, using their name and DOB, and click Accept.
  3. Select the proxy’s name if the patient is a minor.

 

  1. Click Send Link to Reset Password.
  2. You will see the email on file for the MyChart account (this is the email that will receive the link).
  3. Click Send and click OK.

  1. The customer will go to their email, click Reset your password.

  1. The customer verifies themselves by entering their date of birth and then clicks Next.

  1. The customer will be taken to password reset screen, where they enter their new password, and clicks Next.

  1. The customer clicks Accept, to accept the terms and conditions, and they are automatically logged into MyChart.
