Change Username for Name change request

Guide on how to change an Epic username.

When a name change request is submitted though HR, the Service Desk will update the user’s Epic login username to match the new network username. This ensures the user can successfully log into Epic using their updated credentials.

Try it out

  1. Navigate to User Security
  2. Search for the user’s name.

 

  1. Select Continue and click Accept. 
  2. Select Authentication Settings, under System Login enter the new username.

 

  1. Select Accept.

 

Quick TipThe user will be able to log into Epic with their new username.
